How we actually made this

This film was created entirely with AI visuals and edited in CapCut, but built using a traditional filmmaking mindset. We started with a clear concept and storyboard, mapping each narrative beat before a single frame was generated.

From there, we generated hundreds of scene variations to find the exact moments that moved the story forward, not just "pretty shots". The result is a coherent, character-led short rather than a loose montage of AI clips.

Why it looks like a movie, not a template

We leaned into a Wes Anderson-inspired style, channelling the symmetry, colour, and composition you'd expect from something like The Grand Budapest Hotel. Everything – framing, palette, and pacing – was chosen to make our main character feel alive inside an almost-too-perfect reception space.
